Principal Dr. H.P. Hyder, III
Welcome to Northbrook Middle School – Home of the Knights! I am Dr. H.P. Hyder, III, your Proud Knight Principal. This marks my 24th year in education and my 2nd year at Northbrook M.S. I am a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am also a proud alumnus of Prairie View A&M University where I attained a Master of Education in Educational Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership.
I am fortunate to have made education my career since college. I started my career in Aldine ISD as a middle school math teacher. I also served as an assistant and associate principal in Aldine ISD and Spring ISD before accepting my first principalship in Sheldon ISD in 2010. I returned to Spring ISD in 2013 to lead Bammel Middle School. During the 2016-2017 school year, I ventured to the district office to serve as the Director of Academic Support Services. Because I missed the students so much, I returned to the campus level to lead Heritage Elementary School for almost 2 years before transitioning back to Bammel Middle School.
